Princeton Review Again Names SU Among Nation's 'Best Colleges'
By SU Public Relations
SALISBURY, MD---°®ÆＧ has been named among the nation’s top 15 percent of four-year colleges in The Princeton Review’s 2026 edition of The Best 391 Colleges.
The guide features comments from students who describe SU as having “a super diverse and awesome student body with people from all walks of life” with individuals who “push me to work hard every day.” They highlight the University’s “welcoming and supportive” environment, where community and encouragement go hand in hand.
This national recognition reflects SU’s continued commitment to academic excellence, student success, and fostering a campus culture where every student can thrive.
“As we celebrate °®ÆＧ’s Centennial, it is especially meaningful to see our students share such positive and impactful experiences, both on campus and in the greater community,” said SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre. “For 100 years, SU has placed students at the heart of our mission, and for more than 25 years, The Princeton Review has recognized that commitment. We remain dedicated to providing the high-impact education and support our students need to launch their careers and make a difference in the world.”
Spotlighted in SU’s review are academics, a sense of support among students, and appreciation for athletics, student organizations and University Dining Services.
On the academic side, students were excited about opportunities including study abroad, laboratory research, team-based learning, and use of technology in the classroom, including augmented reality. They specifically shouted out SU’s nursing, education, biological sciences and art programs, as well as the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business (“one of the best in the state”) and Glenda Chatham and Robert G. Clarke Honors College.
Students also continued to laud SU’s Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons, again ranked among the top 20 collegiate libraries in the U.S. (SU’s library services “are amazing,” according to one.)
In addition, The Princeton Review named SU one of the “Best Online MBA Programs” and again named SU one of its “Best Mid-Atlantic Colleges,” one of its “Best Value Colleges” and among the nation’s “Green Colleges.” The sustainable accolade is an honor SU has earned each year since The Princeton Review first offered it in 2010.
