Welcome to Kirsten's Day Care and Preschool, where we believe children learn through play. We are a specialty day care and preschool, offering care Monday through Thursday from 8:00am-5:30pm.  Part-time and drop-in care can sometimes be accommodated, but families who attend Monday through Thursday take priority for openings.

 

Children will learn with our highly-trained, reliable staff who love children. They will play in our natural, 1/2 acre yard, which includes trails, a garden, a greenhouse, a large wooden train, a sandbox, and many other features. The children are in awe at the many chipmunks, squirrels, various breeds of birds (including the all-time favorite hummingbirds), and deer that also use our yard as their playground! Nutritious, home-made food, is served daily with  organic milk. Exciting curriculum is used to enhance our learning through play concept. We have created our philosophy of learning through play using principles from many exceptional programs, such as, such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia.  Our ratio of children to adults is always within State guidelines - and almost always even lower - to make certain each child receives the highest quality care. We are State licensed as a home daycare facility and have met or exceeded all health and safety guidelines.
